Hire Charges

The minimum hire period is one week, which starts from the day you receive the book to the day you return it. The minimum number of tapes we hire in a book is four. The first week of hire is charged as follows:

After the first week, each subsequent day is charged at 8p per tape per day. So, for example, a six tape book costs 48p per day. The appropriate amount will be deducted from the deposit you place with us via this website.

Payment must be made in advance by credit card through our secure payment system or can be made by cheque, postal order or standing order payable to Travellers Tales. In addition, if you would like us to debit your card regularly, please either telephone or write to us with your card details.

Postage, packing and insurance costs are all included in the first week's hire charge. All postage is 2nd class, but 1st class or next day delivery can be arranged by request.

Volume Bonus and to hire books from this site

Put £50 or more into your hire account and we will credit you with an extra 10% bonus (i.e. for £50 the value in your hire account for book hire would be £55), on your first transaction.

For future payments of £50 or more, we credit cash, cheques or standing order payments with a 10% bonus and credit card payments with a 5% bonus.
